NAS PENSACOLA, FL -- With Captain C. A. Redden chairing AMS-1's first foray into the Combined Federal Campaign, AMS-1 was presented the CFC Bronze Certificate in an awards presentation held 6 November 97. The Squadron exceeded its fund-raising goal by collecting $18,516 -- 119% of its goal.
According to local CFC officials (cited in the 21 Nov 97 GOSPORT), 30 percent of the funds remain in the local area to help support various community programs. Contributions were made voluntarily by members (students and staff) of the Squadron.
